The AGM for Mudgee Valley Writers will be held on Tuesday 14th March from midday at Club Mudgee. All are welcome to attend.

Don’t miss the book launch of the most recent anthology of Mudgee local identities Footprints In The Valley.
The event will be held at Club Mudgee on 25th February from 1:30 pm. Our own local identity and poet extraordinaire Bob Campbell will be Masters of Ceremony joined by fellow musicians and poets.
What a successful exhibition was had over the weekend. We were well attended by local entrants and their families along with our local poet laureates.
The pictures tell the story. We all enjoyed hearing Bob Campbell read Deborah Cooke’s winning entry, Rekindling, and Monica reading her entry, Babe of the Vineyards.
Well done to the Mudgee Valley Writers team for their hard work and the Mudgee Readers Festival team for the impeccable organisation and presentations on the day.
Now we can take a few breaths until our next competition and book launch.

The mini–Mudgee Readers Festival will be held over the weekend beginning on the 26th of August. We’ll be exhibiting all the entries of our very successful Much More Than Words competition at the Town Hall Library from 2 pm along with a free afternoon tea.
At 3 pm our very own Bob Campbell will be leading a group of poets for an hour of poetry.
All are invited to attend this free event and we’d love to see all entrants—whose works will be displayed. The Much More Than Words anthology has been received by prize winners and highly commended entrants. Copies will be available at the exhibition.
